TES10B Gauss Meter | Handheld DC Magnetic Field Tester

Product Description

PORTABLE DC MAGNETIC FIELD MEASUREMENT

TES10B Gauss Meter

TES10B Gauss Meter

The TES10B is a handheld digital Gauss/Tesla meter for measuring DC magnetic field and flux density. It offers a wide measuring range, simple operation and a clear display, with hold functions for measure value and peak value, switchable mT or Gs display units, and zero reset by key. Its compact body and backlit 4.5-digit LCD support convenient checks of permanent magnets and other magnetic materials in laboratory, production and field settings.

Key Features

1.  Wide measuring range — covers DC magnetic fields from 0–200 mT to 0–2,000 mT, with 0–2,000 Gs to 0–20,000 Gs

2.  Switchable units — readings can be changed over between mT and Gs

3.  Hold functions — holds the measured value and the peak value for later reading

4.  High resolution — 0.01 mT and 0.1 mT resolution, with 0.1 Gs and 1 Gs

5.  Clear 4.5-digit display — 4½ LCD gives an easy-to-read value at a glance

6.  Zero reset by key — resets the zero point directly from the keypad

7.  Flexible power — operates on a 6 V DC adapter or 4 × AA batteries

Probe, Power and Accessories

The instrument is supplied with a measurement probe and a power adapter in a carrying case, and the battery compartment takes four AA cells for cordless operation.

Measurement Notes

1.  Reset zero before measuring — use the zero reset key with the probe away from the magnetic source

2.  Surface measurement — place the Hall probe chip side against the magnetic surface for a reading closer to the measured value

3.  Reading stability — use the hold measure value function to keep a reading on the display while the probe is repositioned

4.  Peak capture — the peak value function retains the highest reading reached during a scan

5.  Unit conversion — 1 mT = 10 Gs; switch the unit keys when working in either system
