AMF115A and AMF115B Digital Anemometers | Wind Speed Meter

Product Description

HANDHELD ANEMOMETERS FOR AIR VELOCITY AND TEMPERATURE

AMF115A and AMF115B Digital Anemometers

AMF115A and AMF115B Digital Anemometers

The AMF115A and AMF115B are handheld digital anemometers for measuring air velocity and air temperature. Both models provide multiple wind-speed units, temperature conversion between Celsius and Fahrenheit, and common reading modes for field measurements. The AMF115B adds air-volume measurement, computer communication, Bluetooth connectivity, and data-recording features.

The impeller sits at the top of the instrument, so the vane can be held directly in the air stream while the readings are taken. The LCD and the keypad are on the front face, and both models run on a single 9 V battery.

Key Features

1.  Air velocity — Measurement up to 30 m/s with selectable units: m/s, ft/min, knots, km/h, and mph

2.  Air temperature — Measurement from −10 °C to 45 °C, with °C/°F selection

3.  Reading modes — Real-time, maximum, minimum, and average wind-speed readings, plus data hold

4.  Display and power — Beaufort wind scale, wind-chill indicator, low-battery indicator, display lighting, and automatic shutdown after 10 minutes without button operation

5.  AMF115B additions — Air-volume measurement, USB communication with computer software, Bluetooth connection to a mobile app, and recording, review, and export functions

Impeller and Display

The impeller is mounted in the top housing, and the LCD below it shows the reading with the active unit; the keypad selects the unit, holds a reading, and switches the display lighting on.

Applications

1.  Ventilation checks — Spot checks of air movement and temperature in ventilation work

2.  HVAC work — HVAC balancing and general field-measurement tasks

3.  Maintenance — Maintenance checks where a handheld instrument is easier to place than a fixed sensor

4.  Data capture — Workflows that also require air-volume readings or digital data capture (AMF115B)
