The YJS-150 is a portable particle counter based on the light-extinction (light-blockage) principle, used to measure the size and quantity of solid particles in liquid. It's widely used across aviation, aerospace, electric power, oil, chemical, transportation, port, metallurgy, machinery and automobile manufacturing to detect solid-particle contamination in hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, transformer oil (insulating oil), turbine oil, gear oil, engine oil, jet fuel and water-based hydraulic oil, as well as insoluble particles in organic liquids and polymer solutions.
1. Light-Blockage Detection — As particles pass through a narrow detection zone, they block light traveling perpendicular to the flow, changing the sensor's output signal in direct proportion to each particle's cross-sectional area.
