The AMT139 is a pocket-size digital alcohol tester for personal use. A semiconductor alcohol sensor warms up within about 10 seconds and responds within 5 seconds, so a reading is available almost immediately after switching the unit on, and the result is shown digitally in %BAC, ‰BAC or mg/L.

Beyond testing, the same unit works as a travel clock: it keeps real time, has an alarm clock and a countdown timer, and the three-colour backlight makes it readable at night. Auto power-off and a low-voltage indicator keep the two AAA cells from being drained by accident.
