DT-2350P Stroboscope Meter

Keywords: stroboscope meter, digital stroboscope, non-contact tachometer, fpm meter, portable stroboscope

DT-2350P digital stroboscope meter, offered in five models covering 50 to 40000 FPM.

The DT-2350P is a portable digital stroboscope meter that freezes fast-moving objects so that they appear standing still. When the speed of the moving object matches the flash rate of the unit, the object looks stopped, although in reality the equipment under observation is still moving; by adjusting the flashing rate slightly, the movement can be viewed in apparent slow motion, which enables the observer to study the process in action. Using microcomputer technology, emerging technologies and anti-jamming technique, it measures rotational velocity without contacting the object. Five models cover different measuring ranges from 50 to 40000 FPM, so the range that fits the application can be chosen — model DT-2350PE is specially designed for the printing and textile industries.

DT-2350P Stroboscope Meter | 50-40000 FPM Xenon Lamp

Key Features

1.  Digital display gives exact reading — with no guessing or errors, plus a wide measuring range and high resolution.

2.  Automatic stop flashing — saves electricity and improves flash tube lifetime.

3.  Internal / external triggering fast conversion — with x2 and ÷2 button for fast adjustment.

4.  Photoelectric tracking — uses photoelectric signal while external triggering, achieving an automatic tracking function of the pattern.

5.  Non-contact speed measurement — uses microcomputer technology, emerging technologies, anti-jamming technique and other advanced technology to measure the rotative velocity without contacting the object.

Built for Real Use

Every part the operator touches is designed for routine rotational speed work — the xenon flash head, the reading and the controls.

Standard accessoriesMain unit; carrying case (B08); operation manual
Optional accessoriesSpare flashing tube; rechargeable battery (only for DT-2350PA / DT-2350PE)

Applications

1.  Providing an image of single, two or multiple stillness for a vibrating object, rapidly rolling object or a periodic motion object.

2.  Observing movement tracks and checking the speed of rotating machinery without contact.

3.  Printing and textile machinery (model DT-2350PE, 50~2,000 FPM) where low flashing rates give a brighter light.

4.  Production line monitoring of high-speed rotating parts such as fans, rollers, motor shafts and drive belts.

5.  Teaching and laboratory demonstrations of apparent stopped motion and slow motion.
