IP67 WATERPROOF DIGITAL MEASUREMENT
The 101-520 is an IP67 waterproof digital caliper for workshop use, including environments exposed to coolant, water, dust or oil — it can even be used in water. It offers the same reliability as a vernier caliper with a high protective level, and its absolute encoding measuring system avoids loss of the measurement origin when the slider is moved fast or interfered with. The origin is not lost even after power turn-off or battery replacement, so there is no need to re-set the origin before each measurement.

The caliper combines internal and external measuring jaws with a clear LCD and a simple two-button control layout. Origin-related errors are avoided by the absolute encoding system, and readings convert between metric and inch units in either ABS or INC mode.

1. No origin setting needed — the absolute encoding system keeps the measurement origin, so there is no need to re-zero before each measurement
2. Cleaning after use — rinse with clean water and dry the jaws after contact with coolant, water, dust or oil
3. Watch the battery — replace the CR2032 when the low-voltage alarm appears; the origin is retained across battery replacement
4. Choose the right order number — each order number covers a different measuring range, so confirm the range before ordering
5. Unit conversion — 1 mm = 0.03937 in; switch between metric and inch readings as needed
