MPE02-L Digital Electronic Theodolite

Keywords: MPE02-L theodolite, digital electronic theodolite, green laser theodolite, surveying instrument, 2 second theodolite

Digital electronic theodolite with a coaxial green laser pointer, 2" angular accuracy and dual backlit LCDs for high-visibility outdoor alignment.

The MPE-02L Digital Electronic Theodolite sets a new standard for outdoor alignment with its coaxial green laser pointer, which offers significantly better visibility in bright sunlight compared with standard red lasers. A professional 2" angular accuracy with selectable display increments (1" / 5" / 10") delivers versatile precision, while a simple ten-button keypad and dual backlit LCD displays keep operation clear in any lighting.

With a robust, compact design, up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge, and an internal Class 2 laser plummet, the MPE-02L is engineered for high-efficiency fieldwork across construction and land-survey tasks.

Key Features

1.  High-Visibility Green Laser — coaxial green laser pointer is far easier to see in bright sunlight and over long distances than red lasers.

2.  2" Angular Accuracy — absolute-encoder reading system with selectable display increments (1" / 5" / 10") for varied applications.

3.  Dual Backlit LCD Displays — front and back screens show readings simultaneously for efficient single-operator work.

4.  30× Erect-Image Telescope — 47 mm objective, 1°30' field of view and crosshair reticle for sharp long-distance sighting.

5.  Single-Axis Tilt Compensation — liquid-electric compensator with ±3' range keeps readings stable on uneven ground.

6.  Efficient Power & Compact Build — up to 8 hours of continuous operation on a single charge; lightweight 4.1 kg body for easy transport.

How to Use

1.  Set Up — mount on a tripod, level with the tubular (30"/2 mm) and circular (8'/2 mm) vials, and center over the station with the internal laser plummet (1.5 mm @ 1.5 m).

2.  Sight the Target — aim the 30× telescope, use the green laser pointer for quick alignment in sunlight, focus and tighten the tangent clamps.

3.  Read & Record — read horizontal and vertical angles on the dual backlit LCDs; switch units (DEG / MIL / GON / V%) as needed.

4.  Compensate — the single-axis tilt sensor automatically corrects within ±3' for accurate results on slightly uneven ground.
