The AMC-111 is a multifunction digital altimeter that combines a digital barometer, weather forecast, altitude and barometric history logging, a thermometer, a clock and a calendar in one compact clip-on device. Built on air-pressure sensor technology, it's designed for outdoor use, with a security clip that makes it easy to attach to a belt, strap, rucksack, or clothing for hands-free carry on the trail.

Core Functions

1.  Altimeter — Displays the sea-level altitude of your current location; press SET and ALTI/+ together to manually adjust the altitude reading if needed.

2.  Barometer — Displays the current air pressure at your location; press ALTI/+ to switch between altimeter and barometer modes.

3.  Relative Altitude — Press and hold ALTI/+ for 2 seconds to zero the altitude at your current position, then track the ascending or descending altitude relative to that point — useful for monitoring elevation change on a climb or hike.

4.  Weather Forecast — Uses barometric pressure trends to forecast weather for the coming 12–24 hours, with an effective range of 30–50 km. As with any barometric forecast, always confirm against your local weather station.

5.  History Records — Stores up to 256 altitude and air-pressure records; press HISTORY to review past readings, and press and hold HISTORY for 2 seconds to adjust the recording interval from 1 to 60 minutes (default: every 5 minutes).

6.  Power-Saving Mode — Press and hold SET for 5 seconds to put the display into dormancy; press any button to wake it and resume the previous display.

7.  Backlight — Press any button in any mode to light the display for 5 seconds; pressing again extends the backlight duration.
